Northfield Estate sits on nearly 50 acres of sprawling hills and trees in Cumberland, Virginia, with a picturesque pond and an ornate ballroom that has witnessed generations of dances.

We pride ourselves on creating events personally suited to each client. The venue is a blank canvas for you and your planner, and everything from the getting-ready spaces and portrait spots to the sailcloth reception tent was designed with you in mind.
How we got here
A Historic Estate, Newly Renovated
Inside, we removed the bedroom floor above the ballroom to open a two-story ceiling, added floor-to-ceiling windows, custom trim and three crystal chandeliers, and restored the original hardwood floors.
Outside, the old deck became upper and lower terraces joined by a grand center staircase, the groom's cottage was rebuilt inside, the old basketball court became a hardscaped tent pad, new walkways connect the grounds, and the back of the house has a new roof.
